FutureTurf's Installation Process
Removal of Old Grass and Dirt
We start by excavating the land and removing all of the dirt and old grass. We ensure that all debris is removed and cleaned-up before moving to the next step of the process. |
Base Installation Takes Place
Once all of the old dirt, grass, and weeds have been removed from the area, the base installation takes place. Workers use tools to spread the base out and prepare it to be compacted. |
Partial Base Compaction
Once the workers have been able to spread the base out, special compactors are used to compact the base up to 90%. The base must be perfectly compacted in order to ensure proper leveling and that drainage can still occur if the grass becomes saturated with water. |
Smoothing and Shaping
Workers carefully complete the leveling process by smoothing and shaping the base to ensure an even flow. This is where special features such as rolling hills or dips and grades can be added and perfected. |
Edge Primping and Compaction
After the main areas have received their attention and proper leveling, workers take care to finalize the edges of each base surface. This ensures that the edges of your synthetic turf will look natural and clean. Special care is taken to ensure the best look for your new artifical grass. |
Synthetic Turf Installation
The absolute most critical step in the process. This is what seperate average installers from turf installation professionals like the ones you'll find at FutureTurf. The artifical grass is laid out with careful attention being made to seams. All turf seams are different, and it is important to know that you should NEVER see seams. Don't let anyone tell you different. |
Precision Trims and Wraps
Once completed with the initial installation, our FutureTurf Certified Installers begin to trim and wrap areas around rocks, trees, and other landscaping. Our certified installers take special care in these areas to ensure your turf looks as natural as its surrounding landscape. |
Optional Infill Process
Infill is highly recommended ans help to prolong your turf and make it look its best. We use an automatic broom that pushes the infill through the turf to the bottom while brushes and pulling the blades of turf up to give your synthetic grass its best look possible. |
Post-Installation Edge Detailing
Making sure we pay attention to every little detail is important to us and our customers. Our installers are done until every edge is carefully trimmed and inspected to make sure everything is clean and natural looking to the human eye. |
FutureTurf's Material Removal
When we are sure that the job is 100% completed and perfectly installed in your setting, we then begin the process of a total clean-up. It's our job to make sure the area we work in is left as clean or cleaner than when we first arrived to install your turf. You'll be able to enjoy your new synthetic turf application right away. |
Final Inspection
After we've removed all of our material and have completed out final inspection, it's not completed until you're fully satisfied. We get our customers signature at every site to ensure a 100% satisfaction when we leave the job. You're going to really appreciate your complete experience from start to finish. In addition, our district supervisors will drop by to ensure everything is as it should be. |
